Shri. Vasant Bhagwant Sawant – Vice- President GKA

Born on 23rd March, 1960. Short story writer in Konkani. His stories are translated in more than Ten Indian languages and English. His stories are included in syllabus of Goa University and Mangalore University. He has translated many plays from English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi etc. He has received prizes of Kala Acadami Konkani drama competition for translation of plays in 2021, 2022 and 2023. Recipient of Kala Acadami award for literature.
